Wishcraft by Barbara Sher

It’s been a few years since I bought Barbara Sher’s Wishcraft and I still remember the disappointment when I opened the book and discovered it was written in 1979. So old! But my attitude quickly changed as I read the book – old, but what a bombshell! Sher’s writing is so upbeat and optimistic that it makes you feel you can do anything – add the real life examples from people like you and me that further show how you go from having a fabulous dream to realizing it.

First part of the book is about defining your dream life while the second part of the book is about how to achieve it. Sher’s strength is that she has great knowledge and understanding of the human nature and relates in a real way to tendencies like procrastination and fear. This is a fabulous step by step manual – getting anything you want couldn’t be easier.

I just read the book for the second time. The conclusion is: This is a classic and as any classic it gets better each time you read it! There’s always something new to pick up, something new to learn or something new that inspires you.
