The Astrology Diet The Planetary Effect on Your Weight
An astrology diet doesn't really exist, but the planets and the signs do tell a lot about your eating and exercise habits and can be a valuable tool to understand why you eat as you do and to find an exercise that you'd love. An astrology diet would mean looking at the personality type as characterized by your natal birth chart and find suitable exercise and food for you. Especially the Moon's placement in the different signs tells us a lot about whether a person has a tendency to put on weight or not. Both because the Moon rules food, nutrition and stomach, but also because it's connected to our feelings. A person with Moon in Taurus might tend to comfort eat, while a person with Aries Moon might get comfort from kickboxing, instead. This is NOT a Sun sign guide, but shows how signs and planets influence your attitude to food: - Aries/Mars: Too busy to eat. Exercise: Martial arts
- Taurus/Venus: Loves food, especially rich, fat food...Moves heavily and slowly and gives the calories a chance to stay...Slow metabolism. Exercise: Gardening, walking in beautiful places
- Gemini/Mercury: Doesn't talk with food in her mouth and as she talks all the time...Can't get down a bite when she's worried. Never sits still, so calories don't get a chance to stick. Exercise: Loves most sports, especially running (Mercury also rules the feet)
- Cancer/Moon: Shows love through food. Loves to cook for and feed the persons she loves...Might be so busy cooking that she doesn't have time to eat herself. Is afraid there won't be enough food for her family so her cupboards are always packed. Exercise: Home gym
- Leo/Sun: The king and queen of the zodiac love champagne and caviar. Like everything else, food has to bee expensive and exclusive. Too vain to put on weight. Exercise: A private trainer or membership to a very exclusive gym. Playing with children
- Virgo/Mercury: Health obsessive. Always on some weird kind of diet for different health reasons. Exercise: It's so important for her to stay fit that she'll stick to regular exercise. Yoga.
- Libra/Venus: Loves to lie in bed, on silk sheets, in her satin lace nightgown, and eat and drink chocolate (brought to her by her lover/servant). Loves anything sweet and is very lazy...Exercise: Hates to sweat, but sex is fine.
- Scorpio/Pluto: Controls food like she controls her life. Good metabolism. Exercise: Martial arts, swimming
- Sagittarius/Jupiter: Exaggerates. Also when it comes to food and drinks. Eats too much and drinks too much. Both men and women tend to put on weight on the hips and thighs. Exercise: Luckily she likes sports, especially riding.
- Capricorn/Saturn: Disciplined. Don't put on weight. Saturn rules the bones and a person with strong Saturn/Capricorn influence has normally what we call “good bones”. Exercise: Walking
- Aquarius/Uranus: Forgets to buy food, where the refrigerator is and too eat. Exercise: Team sports
- Pisces/Neptune: Why eat when there are so many drugs you can take instead? And alcohol actually is sooo much more fun than food...Exercise: Dancing, swimming
